Juno She Is A Badass

Welcome to my new series called Juno She Is A Badass! The series was inspired by a particular coin I came across while doing my research practicum. But before I get into that, I want to tell you a little bit more about Juno She Is A Badass. The purpose is to explore, in my own words, the woman portrayed on coins that I have come across during my time in The Vault. I want to explore their history. Tell their story for them, well…because they are as dead as dead can be.

This series is not just about writing a narrative history of woman portrayed on coins, but it is meant to explore how we represent their lives; how we represent their identity. I want to dive deep into their lives and break down the stereotypes that are traditionally attached to these women.
